I still need to do some more work on it. This is basically a project I've been doing on my own when I'm at work with nothing much else to do. Started it about a month and a half ago with a Photoshop file. Started the 3D version about two to three weeks ago.
This was rendered in Mental Ray.
The top front part is a multi shader with a mib_color_mix added to the phong color. Only where it's the black gloss look to it. This is where I added the different decals that can change color. Just trying to figure out how to make specific parts glow. The clear glossy is a separate shader which is the same as the other phong but with a transparency.
I should do a base gray with wire-frames render sometime.
